Thank you for considering making an application to the 1910 Charitable Trust
Just before you get started…
Before applying please be aware that all grant applications will need to meet one or more of the following outcomes:
- Improving the quality of life for young people, groups or communities.
- Promoting inclusivity in communities.
- Ensuring vulnerable young people and adults are supported or helped gain access to support.
- Promoting the mental, physical and emotional well-being of vulnerable individuals or groups.
- Providing safe supporting accommodation for those who are homeless.
We will not normally consider applications from any profit making organisation. Applications from individuals or organisations who have received funding from The 1910 Trust within the last 2 years will not proceed to full panel review. The Trust will only consider applications for activities in the South Wales Region as per the below map.

The 1910 Trust seeks to address needs within local communities; funding small and medium scale projects. Evidence of delivery, impact and sustainability are key.
Tier 1
Up to £5,000
Applications for small scale funding, up to a maximum of £5k are invited from appropriate groups and community organisations. The aims of which are to benefit and support local activities, either on-going or one-off requirements, which meet specific needs.
Note: Applications from individuals or organisations who have received funding from The 1910 Trust within the last 2 years will not proceed to full panel review.
Tier 2
These grants are now CLOSED for 2025
The larger Grant Scheme is now OPEN, applications are available under the conditions stipulated under Eligibility Criteria.
