“Crafty Cuppas Pontypridd has been working remotely this term due to delays from the YMa building and has engaged in total 16 members of the community from across Rhondda Cynon Taf with members engaging from Pontypridd, Abercynon, and Merthyr Tydfil. So far we have run 7 sessions where the group have explored various crafts every week whilst using the time to socialise and have a cuppa connecting and sharing with one another. Here is some feedback from the group, and some pictures are attached.

“I like the fact that the activities can be completed within the time”

“I like that is a small community space”

“I love the community feel and trying new things”

“The crafts aren’t too challenging, and are beautifully taught with no pressure. Lovely company”

“Community, conversation, company and trying new things are what I get out of it”

“I realise I can do it”

“It gets me out of the house, when I’m feeling lonely and I enjoy the company”
