HCPT is a nationally registered UK charity and is made up of many local groups across the country where the focus is upon identifying local children who would benefit from a very special holiday. With our Ice Cream Logo and Bright Blue Tops, Group 99 is one of the most readily identifiable groups in the HCPT family in the area. Founded in 1978, the group is made up of many experienced members who have had the privilege of taking these wonderful children to Lourdes for many years.

No expense is incurred by the family of any child taken.
Every year through a variety of fundraising activities, donations and sponsorships we endeavour to raise sufficient funds to take at least eight local children for a free holiday to Lourdes in France at Easter. The children we take come from all walks of life and their needs can be many and varied. Some may not have experienced any kind of holiday.
Those needs may be intellectual, physical, social, emotional or a combination of all of these needs and is open to every child regardless of ability, faith, background, colour, culture, race of creed.
Everyone is regarded as having equal worth.
All HCPT Group 99 helpers pay for themselves to help these special children and every helper will have had the highest level of DBS certification.
The money we raise is from within the local community, and all fundraisers can be assured that all donations received are spent exclusively on children from within the community to give them a truly unforgettable week, making new friends and in a safe environment, full of warmth, fun and affection.
