Just a couple of stories that you might like to pass onto your team when we gave out the hampers and gifts, both parents were crying at the front door:
“I lost my Mum two weeks ago, and have been really struggling to cope. You have no idea of how much this means right now.”
“My husband died two months ago suddenly, and we used to have a good life. However, we now face losing our home, and have nothing to look forward to this Christmas, as there is nothing left after we had his funeral. This will help the children to smile and be normal for a while”.
…One little girl was so happy, she has been bouncing and dancing for the last two days, and one young man has not stopped smiling.”
